Is there a religion that was born out of love rather than fear and false promises?

No %26amp; yes.

Not really. Only because 'religion' really is the works or rituals people do according to what they believe.

There is only one religion in the bible that is pure %26amp; right before God. And that is visiting the orphans and widows and to keep self from sinful living (to be holy).

We are made holy when we receive Jesus shed blood for remission of our sins. And we keep self from sinful living, by obeying Gods Word. And out of the love of God in our heart, we reach out %26amp; help those in need. Jesus said that whatever we do to the least of His (even the little children), we do to Him.

So really, charity from the love of ones heart would be a religion born out of love.

God said that He sent His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but receive Eternal Life.

And this isn't a coercion or a false promise.

Every promise of God is 'Yes %26amp; Amen'.

Almost all religious were born out of love rather then fear and false promises. The real question you have is which religion believes are true. I would suggest when thinking on that you do not look at each religion's extremists. Instead look to those in are world who are the moderates, but first and foremost look to the source of the religious believes. Is there a religion that was born out of love rather than fear and false promises?
God is Love. His word was intended to show you his love and for you to love him in return. Religions are a product of everyone trying to interpret the word of God. What you or anyone else believes in is really taking away from what God really wants and whether anyone can grasp that or not is reason why so many people don't understand.

Those content with a religion have already found their peace with God, but that doesn't mean that they need their religion to maintain that.
Yes there is and it all depends on how you practise. We cannot depend on media to actually understand a religion and way of life e.g Islam, research and find out through the practising or well established organisations who will more than delightful to help with any queries.

I heard so much bad things about muslims but does not mean Islam is bad, I have researched and realised it really does mean peace. If you want I can send you videos and audios and trust me it makes sense.

Hope that helps
No. Of course not. What would be the point of such a religion?

For this to happen, love would have to have already been present. Religions are created out of desperation on the part of the people. People who desperately want love, or security, or a sense of purpose would create a religion as a last resort. No one who already has those things needs to invent gods.
Religion is man made

Relationship is born out of love and is what God desires with us

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not persh but have eternal life.

You notice that it does not say that for God so loved the world that he created religion...
Christianity.

Romans 5:8 says ';But God recommends his own love to us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.';

That along with John 3:16 shows the great love Jehovah has for us, and the sacrifice of his Son was the start of Christianity.
All Religions are born out of false promises %26amp; fear, whereas Buddhism Sikhism %26amp; any other 'hism' You can think of are systems of belief that do not require bowing down to a particular Supreme Being. Rather like Paganism, where the adoration of Many superior entities are Worshipped.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16). God’s giving His Son involved more than merely allowing Him to leave Heaven’s glory and enter earth’s history. It meant allowing Him to die in our place and pay the awful debt of our sins. God proved His love conclusively and irrefutably by sending His Son to the cross as an atoning sacrifice for our sins (Romans 5:8; 1 John 4:9-10). That is sacrificial love.
Sorry I do not know of a religion born out of love; however I do know that my faith in Christ and the relationship that I have with Him, was derived out of love, compassion and redemption.

If this isn't love, I don't know what is.
(John 13:34-35) I am giving YOU a new commandment, that YOU love one another; just as I have loved YOU, that YOU also love one another. 35 By this all will know that YOU are my disciples, if YOU have love among yourselves.

Another vote for Taoism.

Disagreeing with the Christians; a loving God would not send people to Hell for eternity no matter how bad they were. A loving God would use His omnipotence to reform, rather than spitefully punish His creations.
Christianity was born out of love. God came to Earth in the form of a man, and He died the most inglorious, despicable way possible, because He loved us. What man has done to/with/ and in the name of Christianity is another matter.
Christianity was born out of love. I can't force other people to share or even see my point of view, however, I know that God loves me and that He sent Jesus to die for my sins because of that love.
Pastafarianism, Hinduism. Broadly seen also Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism. Basically anywhere where there's no god in play.
Who are you to say any religion was formed or born out of fear and false promises? Your proof of your statement is _ _ _ . You can't give it, come on and confess to that.
Religion? probably not.......relationship with Jesus Christ? yes.
I am a Christian out of Love of God.

I renounced the FSM because I fear Pasta, I would never worship a God that will make me fatter.
