True or False: Love is an action?

True or False: Love is an action....

Think about it... it may be a feeling as well as an action... but you feel it when someone is giving it to you or when you are giving it to someone/something else... correct? Thus... making it constantly active...

So... do you have control over your actions, or not?

If not, then is it love?True or False: Love is an action?
It is pro-action.

Edit: Love is not inaction. It is in action.True or False: Love is an action?
Pure love is awareness in action.Unconditional love is not a feeling it is the very source of our being at work.

We don't so much control it as remain unaware of it and were we to control it once we were aware of it and decide not to be it and share it we were really not aware of it at all.

Love would still be there though as it cannot go anywhere from us..we can simply chose to ignore it or wake up to it.
Each soul has complete control of their actions in- Giving

About Anything, including Love ! Yes/No ??
';Love'; is a verb and a noun, so yes, it is both an action and feeling.

And of course, you have control over your action.
I think it is a verb.
id say false. its and emotion. it mike make you do and action like hug someone or run because your in love
Yes, there is definitely an active component. It is primarily going along with the attraction that we feel, rather than resisting it or merely being aware of it. Resistance would be a different form of action - one that we would not want to call love, maybe something like repression or suppression. Merely being aware would be contemplation of a pleasant feeling of attraction without wanting more of it, which is very hard to achieve.

Yes, we do have control over our actions, including this one. It is the type of control that is exercised by faithful people whenever they are tempted by forbidden fruit.

Is it love? Lots of people think that they have no control over what they love; they consider themselves to be too passionate and impetuous. Our society tends to praise this type of attitude, and many people on these pages want to demonstrate their enormous appetite for ';living life to the full';, ';having it all';, etc. But anyone can resist anything, if they really want to, and with some self-training. This type of love is more impersonal, and is the love that motivates morality.
