Matthew 24:11-13........11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
Jesus was responding to a question about his return %26amp; the end of this age.
Verse 11 , Is this why there are so many religions ?
Do you think tele evangelists fit this roll ?
Verse 12 do you think man is turning cold hearted to each other now ?
Verse 13 He who stands firm to the end will be saved ,does this mean there is more to being saved that just accepting Jesus ?
It would appear to be saved christians are in for a big test , do you think I am correct ?

Matthew 13:24 Another illustration he set before them, saying: “The kingdom of the heavens has become like a man that sowed fine seed in his field. 25 While men were sleeping, his enemy came and oversowed weeds in among the wheat, and left. 26 When the blade sprouted and produced fruit, then the weeds appeared also. 27 So the slaves of the householder came up and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow fine seed in your field? How, then, does it come to have weeds?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy, a man, did this.’ They said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go out and collect them?’ 29 He said, ‘No; that by no chance, while collecting the weeds, YOU uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest; and in the harvest season I will tell the reapers, First collect the weeds and bind them in bundles to burn them up, then go to gathering the wheat into my storehouse.’” 36 Then after dismissing the crowds he went into the house. The harvest is a conclusion of a system of things, and the reapers are angels. 40 Therefore, just as the weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be in the conclusion of the system of things. 41 The Son of man will send forth his angels, and they will collect out from his kingdom all things that cause stumbling and persons who are doing lawlessness, 42 and they will pitch them into the fiery furnace. Verse 11: Any other religion/spiritual perception can be a threat because it might lure people into new beliefs, since we follow what we believe is right and what is right is relative
`Verse 12: I think we have a lot to base that blameon besides religion
Verse 13: You can't expect from The Lord to spend 33 years of his life preaching you to follow his way without giving anything back in return. Think about it.
The bible says ';You receive free, you give free';. God never charges anyone to learn about him. These evangelists that fleece the flocks and the church's that pass the collection plate, sometimes twice are also fleecing the flocks. These are the false prophets. False religion teaching false doctrines. God will take care of them very, very soon.
Contraception (which results in more abortions and divorce) is acceptable in all churches except the one that Jesus founded. Contraception is intrinsically evil.

Christ was responding to His return and the end of THE WORLD. When Christ returns, the world will have ended, under great turmoil and suffering, the details of which we would not be able to hear yet.
Men's hearts will have become cold (to the doctrine). Those who hold to Christ's unchanged doctrine (His original Catholic Church--not Vatican II) will be the remnant of believers, and ';very few.';
Many are deluding themselves that this cannot even happen and are talking about ';restoration'; of the Church. Once fallen, the Church will not have Two Apocalypses, just one. It will not happen. Such pretenders do not face scripture squarely for what it says. It is precisely that doctrinal ';fall'; which will CAUSE the return of Christ, as St. John's Apocalypse tells us. 2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

yes they have been for a long time. The love of most toward God grows cold. More people will deny and reject God.

No it means those who continue to follow and serve God and do not reject him and stop following God will be saved.
its compared to running a race. You run a race so that you cross the finish line. You do not run the race to stop half way through. As a Christian you follow the life to the end not give up and stop being a christian.

only during the tribulation time. any one saved during the tribulation will have to resist the antichrist and the evil that runs the world.
if they will not accept the mark of the beast he will kill all who do not accept it. So a person with a faith in God will be tested greatly jew and gentile alike. the antichrist will also persecute the jews.
before the tribulation starts christians will leave in the rapture or taken to be with God.
jesus said two will be working and one taken the other left. jesus coming is compared to a flash of lightening. Fast and quick and powerful. where the carcass is there will the eagles be. the carcass is the food that eagles need to survive. The carcass or the bread of life is jesus and those who have that bread of life , saved christians, will be with jesus.
