The answer to your question, as stated, is NO, you can't love someone else without first loving your self being, not yourself. In order to love others, one must be able to first recognize love. This is accomplished by being fortunate enough to have been brought up by/into a loving, nuclear family and having been subjected to a childhood of forthright examples on how to behave properly in a variety of different situations and environments. A good education, overal environment, and loving parents and extended family are essential. But, unfortunately, in this divorce-ridden society, those oportuniites are not afforded as easily anymore and many of the resulting ';adults'; cannot cope with life's stresses because they never had the ';tools'; to equip themselves to do so from the beginning.True or false: can you love someone without loving your self?
Honestly I don't think you can. It's hard to even believe the other person could love you when you don't really love yourself. I mean I guess you could still love them but I that if you meet that right person they can teach you to love yourself and thats how you would be able to love them.
