Yes.True or false, Self love is true love ?
Dude, first of all it's almost impossible for anyone to define LOVE? but we believe it falls more in the lines of care, respect, devotion, emotions of happiness and sadness, and I don't know almost evey emotion ever described by humans.


But, I don't think that Self Love is True Love, it all depends on person to person, few people don't care of their life and devot their life for serving society and die for it, without any regrets. I don't even have a count of how many in our history have done so.


Forget, about legends, lets talk about us, everyone at some stage realises that he loves his mom, dad, sis, bro, friend, girl friend, wife, your kid or even a stranger more than himself and when the situation comes, may even sacrifice his life for people he loves them more than his life.


We humans are damn complicated, we keep changing our minds, sometimes we completly selfish and sometimes all sacrificing. lol.


So true love is not self love. BUT 'LOVE' per se (itself). Love is the true 'Love' :) that's all.
Yes, it is similar to Narcissism where Man falls love with it鈥檚 own shadow, moreover in the back of mind, mind needs somebody similar to self, which is normally termed as Love so self love is noting but loving others (where in you find your character in a different body) and it exists.
i am beginning to think that without self love life may be impossible .

Putting aside the issue of going blind, self love may or not be true love. But it is the starting point for true love because if you love not yourself you can not love others truly.
True. We are all selfish in our innate soul. Even our soul loves our body rather than others which will be revealed during death hours.
